Pastry baker — Leon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Leon County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
