Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Nottingham, England. Day to day you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Part-time with flexible hours.
