Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Monroe County, Alabama. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
