Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Toombs County, Georgia. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day to day you will laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
