Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean.
