Urgent requirement: lift mechanic (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Bunkure, Kano State. You will be based at a busy lift company. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate The role involves: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
