Port container crane operator — Sevier County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Sevier County, Utah. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
