Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Day-to-day duties: • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch 3+ years on the tools preferred.
