Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Calhoun County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
