Retail butcher — Orlu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Orlu, Imo State. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦185,000 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
