Hydraulic crane operator • Gabasawa, Kano State

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Gabasawa, Kano State. The job is on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Performance bonus on top of base pay.
