Stainless steel welder — Esan West

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Esan West, Edo. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
