You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
