Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Kurmi, Taraba State. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
