Now hiring: we are hiring a banquet server in Frederick County, Maryland. You will be based in a café. You should have: • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service Day-to-day duties: • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) Full-time, day shift. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
