Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Jefferson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Jefferson County, Ohio. The job is at an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; refuel the machine and record running hours; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Rotating shifts.
