Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Howard County, Maryland. The job is in a residential garden complex. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Your main tasks: • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
