Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Davis County, Iowa. You will be based on a quarry floor. On the job you will handle: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
