Banksman — Ukum

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Ukum, Benue State. Day to day you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
