Horticulturist — Putnam County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Putnam County, Florida. You will work in a botanical garden. What we are looking for: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers On the job you will handle: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
