Your main tasks: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Ideally you have proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class); valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence.
