Cnc lathe setter — Anglesey

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Anglesey, Wales. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
