We are recruiting: sheet metal press operator (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Uvalde County, Texas. The job is on the press shop floor. Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
