Argon arc welder wanted in Summit County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Summit County, Utah. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
