Skimming plasterer — Mitchell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Mitchell County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Your main tasks: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls 4+ years on the tools preferred.
