Now hiring: we are hiring a painter in Calhoun County, Illinois. You will be based at a property maintenance company. Day to day you will apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
