Rigging foreman • Ughelli North, Delta State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Ughelli North, Delta State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
