Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Grant County, Minnesota. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity.
