Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Ideato North, Imo State. The job is at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
