Meat cutter wanted in Porter County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Porter County, Indiana. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Season and marinate meat on request • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
