Great opportunity: we are hiring a despatch rider in Gateshead, England. You will be based at an e-commerce delivery centre. Requirements: • Able to ride long hours in all weather • Own motorcycle or scooter preferred • Good knowledge of local roads and areas The role involves scan each package barcode on the handheld device before loading; collect cash-on-delivery payments and issue the receipt; carry the vehicle papers (RC, insurance, licence) on every run; call customers for directions or to retry a missed delivery; return undelivered parcels and reconcile cash at the hub; load and strap the parcels securely in the delivery box.
