Landscape gardener — Nelson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Nelson County, Virginia. You will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
