Steel erection rigger wanted in Maiduguri

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Maiduguri, Borno State. You will be based at a power plant. Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals Part-time with flexible hours.
