HGV driver • Ikom, Cross River State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HGV driver in Ikom, Cross River State. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Requirements: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Rotating shifts.
