Hydraulic crane operator • Franklin County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Franklin County, Nebraska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
