D6/D8 dozer operator wanted in Volusia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Volusia County, Florida. The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Full-time, day shift.
