Kitchen steward — Shomgom

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Shomgom, Gombe State. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Your main tasks: • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures Full-time with occasional weekends.
