Now hiring: we are hiring a bench joiner in District Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. On a typical shift you will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. Ideally you have good eye for detail and a clean finish; own basic hand tools; confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
