Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Nottoway County, Virginia. The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Full-time, day shift.
