Immediate opening: we are hiring a general labourer in Bichi, Kano State. You will be based on a commercial building project. You should have: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times The role involves: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Full-time, day shift.
