Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Linn County, Oregon. You will work at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; read lift plans and method statements before starting. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
