Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Edwards County, Texas. The job is in a job-work machining unit. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code 4+ years on the tools preferred.
