Head butcher — Castro County

You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
