Hand presser wanted in Sangamon County

Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
