Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Bell County, Texas. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Full-time with occasional weekends.
