Now hiring: horticulturist (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Jackson County, Mississippi. You will work on a golf course. Your main tasks: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
