Sand plant operator — Gray County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Gray County, Texas. You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Part-time with flexible hours.
