Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Abeokuta South, Ogun State. You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Your main tasks: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board 3+ years on the tools preferred.
