On a typical shift you will raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data. Ideally you have understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits; ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
