Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Okeechobee County, Florida. You will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
